Full Description

pbr Game Scout is a Greasemonkey script originally developed by tciss and extended by pabst. It adds tables to your play-by-play page that shows rough numbers in rushing, passing, and defensive categories. The script can also be run from a team profile page or player game log in order to show stats from a specific subset of games. The Play-By-Play Filter script can be used to limit the types of plays included in the calculations.

  • Success rate = A play is classified as a success if the offense gets 40% of the first down yardage on 1st down. 60% on second. 100% on third or fourth.
  • FD = The number of first downs they've managed to get.
  • Defeat = Tackle for loss + all tackles which prevent a first down on 3rd/4th down.
  • Stop = It's the defensive equivalent of the success rate stat. If a tackle by a defensive player prevents a successful run/pass, then it's considered a stop. If he causes a loss of yardage or does it on 3rd/4th down, he gets credit for a defeat as well.
  • YPT = Yards allowed per tackle.
