What is Equipment?

Equipment is used to increase your attributes or SAs. Basically it makes your player better. There are currently two different kinds of equipment. Custom Equipment (CE) and Advanced Equipment.

Equipment and Training

Equipment has no effect on how much training progress you get.

Regular Equipment

Equipment can now be purchased at no cost. The cost associated with making a plain attribute eq into an advanced eq is now in Bonus Tokens. There is a starting price for a bonus +1/+2/+3 attribute and a cost for the selection of an SA. These costs range from 10 bonus tokens to 60. If you select a starting attribute bonus or SA then to upgrade you equipment it cost 24 bonus tokens per upgrade. All attributes are available and all SA's are available when buying new equipment.

Custom Equipment

The second kind of equipment a player can get is called custom equipment. This cost flex points to get. You can create a custom piece in the equipment section of your players page or buy clicking on ‘Flex Points’ tab on the top bar. You must give the equipment a name and can upload a picture (uploading a picture is optionally, naming it is mandatory). You are allowed a maximum of +6 skill points into whatever skill you want, each skill point costs 100 FP. At level 8 you are able to choose a SA tree and get +1 to all SA in that tree, this costs 300 FP and you can only do this once.

  1. Click on the equipment tab on top of your player's page to get to the equipment section.
  2. After level 8 you don’t get any more options as far as custom equipment goes.
  3. The reason one or more of your skills are blue is because it is boosted by a piece of equipment.
  4. It is NOT one or the other, you can get both the +6 to skills and the +1 to a SA tree (once you hit level 8 of course)
  5. You can upgrade custom equipment at any time of your players career, you don't have to buy everything at once (get 3 SP for 300 flex at level 4, then at level 20 you can buy the other 3 SP).
  6. Once you buy equipment you can not change it (custom and regular) so think wisely before clicking on the buy button.
  7. If you sell Custom Equipment you get 70% of the Flex Points back.

See Special Ability Tree Boost for more information about the Custom Equipment SA upgrade.

Advanced Equipment

Review Advanced Equipment for more details.

Basically it's regular equipment with the possibility to upgrade it. Advanced EQ also can give you bonuses to SA's and certain percentages like + 3% chance to deflect a ball, etc.

Player Equipment

NOTE - you will only be able to get a bonus token refund for a 2nd piece of EQ on a body part if you purchased it after the new system is added. In addition, there is a limit of four additional pieces (so a total of two per body part) of EQ per player. If you have more than two on a body part of regular EQ, the lowest valued pieces will be removed when the new system is added. As far as AEQ goes, you can either sell it and have the BT's converted when the system rolls over (the maximum you can save by doing this is 85 as the maximum allowed in BT's is 255 and the conversion rate is 3:1). Alternatively, you can keep the AEQ and sell if after the system has changed and get the increased conversion up to a maximum of 255 (so if you have a piece of AEQ that had 64 BT's invested in it in the old system, when you sell it in the new system you will get 192).

Every player will now be given one set of EQ. You will be able to upgrade this EQ for free every 8 levels. You will not be able to sell this equipment.

Every player can purchase a second piece of EQ for a body part at a bonus token cost. Upgrading this EQ every 8 levels is free. The cost is as follows:

First additional piece: 15 bonus tokens Second additional piece: 30 bonus tokens Third additional piece: 45 bonus tokens Fourth additional piece: 60 bonus tokens

There is a limit of four additional pieces (one per body part) that a player can have. You can sell these additional pieces back to get a 50% bonus token refund.

AEQ will cost bonus tokens, ranging from 1 bonus token (most basic item) to 20 bonus tokens (most advanced item). AEQ will cost 24 bonus tokens to upgrade every 8 levels. To shop in the AEQ store, you will need to use a shopping token. There are some additional AEQ options available through the training system.
