Advanced Equipment

There are now two ways to acquire Advanced Equipment.

Buying AEQ

Under a new system in Season 16, you can now just outright buy any piece of equipment you want. The only caveat now is based on what you select the piece of gear has a starting bonus token price. Each upgrade also then costs 24 bonus tokens. Your basically paying bonus tokens for AEQ now instead of $$$.

Rolling for AEQ

If you would like to try your luck you can still attempt to randomly roll for a piece of AEQ. Each roll now cost (2) Bonus Tokens. When rolling you will be presented with a gear option at random. The number of options is one per 10 levels. To the acquire your rolled pieces you need to spend bonus tokens to buy them. The bonus token cost here is much less then buying one using the traditional style.

Example:

Buying a +3 Speed/+1 Pummel piece straight up starts with a cost of (40+60) 100 Bonus Tokens.

If you roll that same piece in the store on your first roll it would cost 2 tokens to roll and 18 to buy it. 20 vs 100 token cost.
